Collaboration
Collaboration is the backbone of our company. We choose who we work with carefully, making sure we share the same vision and can relate to each others passions for our crafts.
Here is a little bit more about the people we work with.
Brad Fulton
As a professional photographer, Brad Fulton is known for his unique style and amazing ability to capture mystery within a single frame, a term he coined “single frame cinema”. Since 2003, we’ve worked closely with Brad on various projects, which were always an exploration of our creative senses. Our professional collaborations are legendary. The iconic images captured for The Trilogy, the haunting images for the limited edition and sought after book Uzumaki (out of print), and the noirish visualization of Sybil.
Early 2011, Brad was hired on as Creative Director for Dan and Dave Industries and had an important influence on their redesign. Brad currently oversees the design of all new projects and ensures that our creative vision and stringent demand for perfection is upheld and brought to life. His breathtaking photography also graces the pages of our website as well as our entire shoppe catalogue.
Digital Operative
Rarely do we come across a company that shares the same aspirations as we do. Digital Operative, a digital marketing agency based in San Diego, California, met our specific criteria and was hired to design and develop a new web experience for our customers. Rich with interactivity, innovative functions, user-friendly shopping and informative design, it’s beyond what we dreamed of.
Joe Porper
A master craftsman and engineer, Joe Porper is one of the few remaining manufacturers who put their heart and soul into their product. Fabricating it by hand and perfecting in through experience. No one else can come close to the level of quality he offers. It is an honor to work with Joe as the exclusive provider of our card clips.
Satisfactory™ Print Shop
Working with Satisfactory™ Print Shop has allowed us to produce small runs of quality apparel at an affordable price. We are grateful to have found such a professional company that knows the ins-and-outs of screen printing. Check out our exclusive line of available t-shirts with more to come.
The Conjuring Arts Research Center
The Conjuring Arts Research Center is an organization dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of magic and its allied arts. We have had the privilege of working closely with them on various projects over the years, most recently on the Erdnaseum Commemorative Playing Cards. We look forward to further collaborations.
United States Playing Card Company
For over 100 years, the U.S. Playing Card Company has been the leading manufacturer of premier playing cards. Because of their history and commitment to quality, we use their services to print all our custom playing cards.
Tony Clark
Although a fine magician, Tony Clark is also an exceptional craftsman. We worked closely with Tony to refine the design and finish of his close-up pads and now offer the Victorian Close-Up Pad exclusively.
Van Fulton
A brilliant, vivacious, and uber-talented artist and artisan (and a great friend); Van Fulton has the uncanny ability to make anything she puts her mind to with the utmost level of quality. Recently she has dedicated her time into the development and production of our exclusive line of handcare products.
Jessica Ziebarth
An expert seamstress, Jessica Zeibarth hand sews the slip cases for our Victorian Close-Up Pads and is currently developing a new line that will compliment our lifestyle absorbed with magic.
Dan Phillips
In 2011 we brought on illustrator Dan Phillips to continue our tradition of favoring hand drawn, original artwork and designs. An expert in traditional mediums (pen, ink, paint) Dan has worked hand in hand with our creative department on numerous successful projects including Fulton’s Clip Joint and Chinatown Playing Cards; as well as countless in house logos, t-shirts and animations.
Prior to joining our team, Dan gained international recognition as a key animator for numerous motion picture title sequences, short films, and video games.
