Organic: A Study on Engineering Miracles

Organic is less a collection of tricks than a notebook of ideas. Written after a month-long road trip across the United States, it explores what we called improvisational magic—finding impossible moments by adapting to the people, places, and objects already around you.

Inside are fifteen effects, along with essays on engineering miracles, spontaneous performance, and thinking beyond technique. Some ideas remain practical. Others are simply invitations to look at magic differently.

Looking back, Organic feels less like a finished work than a snapshot of how our thinking was evolving. We had begun asking different questions—not "How do you perform this trick?" but "How do you create a miracle?" That question continues to influence much of what we make today.
